Foursquare Summer Camps

Foursquare Summer Camps

Every Summer (July and August)  Foursquare facilitates Summer Camps for Kids,
Junior Highers and Senior Highers at Lake Retreat in Ravensdale, WA. The camps have a Christ-centered focus that
allows students to enjoy the outdoors and meet
new friends, while receiving a greater appreciation for God’s love and His
purpose for their lives.

Daniel is a child from Indonesia who is sponsored by the month through volunteer families of our church.  All contributions and correspondence is received and sent by Shorewood Foursquare Church to Compassion International in c/o Daniel.

Jon Meer

Jon Meer

Jon is a Director of Light Under the Bridge Homeless Ministry's Northwest & Seattle Division.

Light Under the Bridge, Non-Profit is a group of volunteers that go out weekly throughout the streets of Seattle, under the freeways, feeding and clothing the homeless.  Their mission is to restore the hope for a future in a situation that is filled with utter despair through the salvation knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Contact if you would like to join Jon and Kathleen on Saturday mornings.

In August 2008, the Mori Family returned to Japan from a home assignment.  The assistant to the family, Gina Lo, will be helping with the new church, Sendai Izumi EFC.

Jerry Reiss the Executive Director of Caleb Good News Ministries. Jerry travels personally to encourage the work being done in churches and for the poor in Romania and the Philippians.

Caleb Good News Ministries is a Christ-centered, charitable, non-profit organization. All of their personnel are volunteers. They are located in Seattle, Washington. Nearly every month donations from many sources are shipped directly to villages, orphanages and hospitals in Romania and other third world countries.

Shorewood Christian School’s Yearly Mexico Missions Trip

Our Principal, Tim Lorenz, coordinates through Baja Christian Ministries a yearly Mexico mission with the 8th grade class.  This mission happens in May (5 days total) each year and the students and chaperones build a modest size house for a needy family in Baja Mexico, as well as ministering to orphaned children through VBS activities.

Skate Church

Skate Church is a youth ministry out of the Journey of Faith Foursquare in the West Seattle Junction. The kids that Skate Church has walking through their doors are at-risk youth in desperate need of a Savior. Skate Church gets these kids off the streets, often feeds and can clothe them, and introduces them to a loving Savior, Jesus Christ.
